I have the perfect fall lounging outfit.
It was chilly last night and I woke up to a bit of rain outside. I spent this morning cozy in bed in my favorite baggy sweatpants that my friend gave me and a large sweater that used to be my dad’s.
A lot of YouTubers upload on Sundays, so I had some video notifications on my phone as soon as I woke up and I just spent the morning cuddled up in bed in oversized, comfy, warm clothing. If I had thought to light a candle, it would have been almost the perfect fall morning.
I could’ve spent all day like that. Luckily, my friend convinced me to hike Twin Peaks, two large hills in San Francisco, with her instead.
The rain almost put me off but she promised it would feel “refreshing.” I’ll admit, the song Unwritten by Natasha Begingfeidl did go through my mind (“Feel the rain on your skin / No one else can feel it for you / Only you can let it in / No one else, no one else”) and I decided to just go with it.
The rain cleared up quickly as I began my walk to our starting point and then it turned into the most gorgeous day. So my Sunday consisted of a rainy morning cozied up in bed coupled with the best, most clear afternoon hike.
